Climate Change & Environmental Law with Andy Raine

This week we’ll be sitting down with Andy Raine, Head of the International Law Unit at UNEP (United Nations Environmental Programme). With over 20 years experience in environmental law and climate change, Andy sits down to talk to us about the triple planetary crisis, his experience in working  in both the private and public sector, the nuanced impact COVID has had on the climate change movement, and much more.

Outside of the practice area, we discuss Andy’s own personal career journey such as the importance of having a compass to guide your career, the need to be open to new opportunities and find mentors to develop your professional experience, and lastly how Environmental Law was literally love at first sight for him.
